Download Songs for Free

I’m telling you one fun way to download any songs for free. Not just it is a cool way to download free music also it helps you to explore new songs.

To download the song go to http://soundcloud.com and search for the song you want. After finding, play the complete song (or until its buffered completely), once done you can get that song from your browser’s cache folder. Here is cache folder location under various environments

Chrome:

Win7:

%LocalAppData%\Google\Chrome\user data\default\cache

Windows XP:

C:\Documents and Settings\[USERNAME]\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Cache\

Firefox:


Windows XP:

C:\ Documents and Settings\ [USERNAME]\ Local Settings\ Application Data\ Mozilla\ Firefox\ Profiles\ your profile\Cache 

Windows 7:

C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\ Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\your profile\Cache

Now if you open cache folder respective to your browser and OS, you will see hundreds of files there, among those files there is your song file. Don’t scare you can easily find your song.
Just right click on empty region then Arrange icon by then click on Size. This will arrange all files according to their size in increasing order. As you know size of songs files lies in 4-10 MB range, so you have to check every file by opening it using VLC player, don’t panic there will be few files within that range. So if you find that song and you want to have it as a MP3 file, just rename it with anyname.mp3 and you will get your song for free.
